The Old School, Tebay, is a friendly guest house in the beautiful Eden Valley. Situated between the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales we are ideally located to offer good access to many fantastic locations.

 With the M6 only minutes away this is a perfect stop off point for the weary traveller. For those wanting a longer stay there are many places to explore from the central location. Accommodation The Old School offers an excellent standard of bed & breakfast accommodation ranging from single through to large family rooms. For the larger group up to 30 people, there is the option of B&B, fully catered or self catering. All our rooms offer tea and coffee facilities and en-suite bathrooms.

There is a large lounge for you to watch TV, videos, DVDs or just relax with some gentle music and a good book. There are good drying and laundry facilities available. Evening meals are available by arrangement. These are especially popular for celebration parties. We pride ourselves in our very friendly atmosphere, excellent food and comfortable accommodation.

So whether you are walking, cycling, relaxing, passing through or going for an adrenelin fuelled activity break, we can offer you an ideal base. We also accept well behaved pets.

If you have special requirements eg dietry, or need activities organising, just let us know. Courses can be run and arranged at our guest house, also conferences and guided walks.
